Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define camera system requirements and specifications for ADAS applications
- Design and develop camera hardware and software components, considering factors such as image quality, sensor selection, lens systems, and integration with other vehicle systems
- Perform calibration and testing of camera systems to ensure accurate performance under various environmental conditions, including adverse weather, lighting, and dynamic scenarios
- Develop and implement computer vision algorithms for object detection, tracking, lane detection, pedestrian recognition, and other relevant ADAS features Optimize image processing pipelines, implement noise reduction techniques, and enhance image quality to achieve high-level accuracy and reliability
- Work on sensor fusion, integrating camera data with data from other sensors like radar and LiDAR, to provide comprehensive perception capabilities
- Collaborate with ADAS system owners to integrate camera functionalities into the larger vehicle software architecture, ensuring seamless communication with other vehicle systems
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and advancements in ADAS camera systems, contributing insights to drive continuous improvement
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Robotics, or related field Master’s
- Solid understanding of camera hardware components, image sensors, optics, and imaging technologies
- Knowledge of industry standards and protocols related to ADAS systems and safety regulations
- Proven experience ( +7 designing, developing, calibrating camera preferably within the automotive or ADAS industry)
- Experience with computer vision techniques, including object detection, image segmentation, and feature extraction
